IntelliS deepens its partnership with the Energy Industries Council as co-host of EIC Connect China in Shanghai, January 2027 — focusing on energy supply security and AI-powered energy technology.
Following the Far East Energy Dialogue at OGA 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, IntelliS is proud to deepen its partnership with the Energy Industries Council (EIC) as co-host of EIC Connect China — bringing the EIC Connect series to Shanghai this January.
This edition shifts the lens toward two forces reshaping China's energy landscape:
⚡ Energy Supply Security
China's National Energy Law (effective Jan 2025) has unlocked large-scale development of unconventional resources. With US$168B projected across 112 energy projects through 2031, the supply-side investment cycle is accelerating.
⚡ AI-Powered Energy Technology
China's four-ministry AI-Energy Bilateral Empowerment Action Plan sets hard targets: 2027 for significantly improved clean energy–computing interaction, 2030 for full bilateral AI-energy enablement.
"算电协同" (computing-power synergy) is now national infrastructure policy — new computing hubs must hit 80%+ green electricity utilisation.
——
As a co-host, IntelliS brings its on-the-ground perspective from 17+ years delivering engineering services across China's offshore and energy sectors — bridging EIC's global network with the realities of China's domestic energy market.
This isn't just another energy conference. It's a focused platform for:
• International energy companies looking to understand China's energy supply transformation and the AI technologies driving it
• Chinese enterprises seeking global partnerships
